Trying to print an Excel file on the web.

New HP Computer came with Microsoft 395 on the web. Loaded an existing Excel file from the computer made some changes then tried to print it. (The printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 Series.) Choose use local printer and it sent it to the queue. after some waiting, removed the printer and tried to reinstall it, it asked for the WPS PIN. Spent an hour or so trying to find out how to locate this pin, gave up downloaded HP Smart, it couldn't find the printer so I gave it the IP Address. Got the same results, the document is in the queue, and hasn't printed for at least an hour.

Can you save the document locally and then print?

No, we don't have Excel on the computer, new computer wouldn't let us install Office 2010. It says the file is saved on the web but we have not setup One Drive on that computer.

You may need or want to cancel any queued jobs first.

Use the quick GUI cancel first. If jobs won’t clear, use the manual spooler reset.

Option A: Cancel from Settings (quickest)

• Open Settings: Press Win + I, then go to Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
• Select your printer: Click the printer name, then click Open print queue.
• Cancel jobs: Right‑click each job and choose Cancel. If one refuses, proceed to Option B.

Option B: Manual clear via Services and File Explorer

• Stop the Print Spooler service: Press Win + R, type

• Open the spool folder: Press Win + E (File Explorer) and go to:

  If prompted for permission, click Continue.
• Delete pending jobs: Select all files in this folder and delete them. These are the stuck queue files.
• Restart the Print Spooler: Return to Services, right‑click Print Spooler, choose Start.
• Verify: Reopen the printer queue—should now be empty. Try printing a small test page.

Option C: Command line reset (one‑liner, admin)

• Run as Admin: Open Command Prompt or PowerShell as Administrator.

  This stops the spooler, force‑deletes all queued jobs, then restarts the spooler.

Can't download it since we don't have One Drive, but I discovered I could export it as a pdf!

Now I have to figure out how to get the printer to work.

All queued documents have been cancelled.
