Turbo Tax Install

Anyone have a REAL fix. Ok with Win 10 from DVD. Tried many "fixes" and nothing works. There were also problems with 2011. The only thing I found was cd/dvd
auto run was off. Turned off Bitdefender and Malwarebytes.

Any help ?

Spent money on these two tax programs and they will not run. Win 11 Pro with security programs turned off. While not a programmer, I can see dumb
programing when I see it. Don't know if I can post the program here.

That's sad. I use H & R Block myself. I hope they develop a patch or update soon.

According to their website, it is supported on Win10 or higher though.

I'm running Win11 Home 22H2 Build 22621.900 and TTax runs fine for me.

I have no issue running Turbo Tax. I'm in Canada. I'm on the latest build.

Interesting ! I have nothing on this machine that would cause a problem. External CD/DVD USB drive. I don't know if the installer
was built for security and is causing the problem. Intuit is supposed to call me to work on a fix. Not holding my breath.

Runs fine in Texas too. Try running the .exe in compatibility mode to see if it makes a difference. If that doesn't work, completely remove the program, re3start the computer, and reinstall in compatibility mode for Windows 10. Also run the program as administrator.

Since this machine was updated from Win 10 and have Win Aero Tweaker installed, I went through all the settings. Ran across "install this as trusted installer" put setup.exe in and ran it. INSTALLED OK. Happy now
