Hey Brink! is there a tutorial that shows you how to turn off the "Start backup" notification in the FIle Explorer address bar? I've been searching for this for ages since a post (now deleted) about Onedrive "Infesting" File Explorer brought up the issue. Of course I don't agree with the posters view, but I would like to know where to find this tutorial (if it exists) for future use. I know there is a way to delete it without using the registry because the blog post for Beta channel build 22635.4515 mentions this, as do you in a reply.

Just to be more specific, I'm looking for a tutorial on this site that I can refer people to (for example like the tutorial to Open Clipboard in Windows 11, or the one to Repair Install Windows 11 with an In-place Upgrade) I already know how to disable the "Start backup" notification, but not many people know how, or that the option even exists (like the author of that deleted post I mentioned earlier).

No problem, i understand! Though I do believe it appears in fresh installs which have onedrive enabled.

you can:
1) bake the removal of that reg value into a custom iso
2) or create a .bat and run it after install and set it to run at startup
3) or create a scheduled task to delete it (scroll down on that SuperUser link and someone posted the task to schedule to do so
