This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off show all pins on the Start menu for your account in Windows 11.
The Start menu is comprised of three sections: Pinned, All apps, and Recommended.
If you have a lot of pinned apps on your Start menu, they will not all show by default on the Start menu.
You can select to "Show all" or "Show less" of your pinned apps on the Start menu on demand.
You can also turn on or off "Show all pins by default" on the Start menu.

EXAMPLE: "Show all" or "Show less" Pinned apps on Start
1 Open the Start menu
.2 Under the Pinned section on Start, click/tap on Show more or Show less for what you want. (see screenshots below)
The next time you open the Start menu, the Pinned section will show what you have set in Option Two or Option Three by default.
1 Perform one of the following actions: (see screenshot below)
- Open the Start menu , right click on an empty area on Start, and click/tap on Start settings.
- Open Settings (Win+I), click/tap on Personalization on the left side, and click/tap on Start on the right side.
2 Turn on or off (default) Show all pins by default for what you want. (see screenshot below)
3 You can now close Settings if you like.

2 Turn On "Show all pins by default" on Start
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

"ShowAllPinsList"=dword:000000004 Save the .reg file to your desktop.
5 Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.
6 When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.
7 You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
