All the world cup games are shared between BBC and ITV.
What a massive difference in quality.
The BBC website is flawless.
The ITV website cannot cope and every so often it pauses with circles to update.
On the BBC site, you can rewind up to 2 hours but no rewind on ITV site (you can on android app but very clunky and you are luck if you are +/- 5 minutes of where you want to be.
As for the adverts at half time - what a joke.
The commentators on BBC are quality commentators, whereas the ITV commentators are B list.
At the risk of being considered sexist , I find the ITV female commentators to be very poor without any real insight, but my main hate is majority all wave their hands like windmills which is very distracting. Whoever told people waving hands incessantly is good presenting. A hand should be waved for emphasis. In truth, ITV have female commentators to "tick a box", not because of quality.
To be fair to BBC, their females are far superior (as are the males).
I know we often whinge about the BBC licence fee, but it is at times like the world cup, you realise how superior the BBC is.
