UK users -- SKY news on firestick LIVE - connection always starts 30 mins behind

Hi folks.
Currently in the UK on a gig . Now when I use a firestick into an older non smart TV and want SKY NEWS and choose LIVE it always starts 30 mins behind. - It's annoying but you can (after one or 2 adverts) scroll to LIVE but this has to be done each time. GB News works fine as does BBC iPlayer.

What's up -- any proper solutions.

not commentating on the various opinions of the broadcasters (although I actually LIKE Nana Akua on GB news !!) - but if it says LIVE - then no probs with a couple of adverts but then it should be LIVE.

I think there's a bit of interest at the moment in the UK over change of PM.

OK just press PAUSE button ant then you can skip forward to LIVE but what a pain every time !!!

Far be it from me to interfere in GB politics but perhaps you guys might be better off with a General Election - but that's your choice !!.

This as a Technical not a political Forum - plenty of those elsewhere.

I must add I had a "3hr Interrogation at Heathrow on arriving from Iceland -- hardly a hotbed of terrorism !!!".

Interrogation? Sorry about that. Maybe you were just an unfortunate statistic, and they had to be seen to be doing something. Or just bored..

Worst 'interrogation' I've had at an airport was I think Croatia one time. I'd got talking with a lady coming off the plane making our way to passport control.. she went out ahead of me, and the guy looked at me and asked, 'Is she your friend?'

And another time I was last off the plane having stopped off en route, and the guy said, 'So why are you late?'
I think he was joking.

I've had some interesting airport experiences, but none difficult, thankfully.
