Hi,
Is this a new Windows 11 installation?
Have you been running 11 on that system?
It's just that fx6300 is not on the list of supported CPUs, or am I wrong there?
It might run, I have 11 running on another system running FX705.
The installation was not straightforward though.

I thought so. You are aware that the CPU is not supported then?

That really does not answer my question.

I've had some luck with installing windows 11 on unsupported hardware using the Ghost Spectre version, but not since Microsoft stopped honoring OEM licenses for older versions of windows. I don't think many people here would recommend that option. I used to have a 2011 model HP Elitebook with a 1st Gen i7 that had no difficulty running W11. Still works. Gave it to a homeless guy.

If you downloaded the MediaCreation tool but not the hardware compatibility checker PC Health tool you can easily run into installation headaches even none compatibility issues for lack of TPM 2.0 support previously being the 1.2 version. For most manufacturers you will be able to find a list of board models for both Intel and AMD on the list of boards recommended.

After seeing a rare incident of 11 installed on an old 500GB drive but ran into headaches trying to get a good install on a larger 1TB drive I ran into the Compatibility problem with only one possible solution to look into being a module being offered for gaming systems as well as the PC platform provided your board offers the necessary TPM 2.0 support and secure boot for the UEFI standard.
For the 14yr Gigabyte board here not being on the list of recommended models it's a concern while the possible solution might still be with an additional module you have to install separately onto the board itself! TPM 2.0 Module Supports Version 2.0 WIN11 System Upgrade 12PIN LPC for Gigabyte - Newegg.com

This had been under consideration now however for several years after news that the next version to follow Windows 10 presently in dual boot with 7 and now 11 being found in the mix that the present main build here would have to be replaced! The alternative of course would be to rebuild one of the Micro ATX towers not supporting full ATX boards in to run 11 and the next to come in a dual booted system there? But you are now seeing a new platform for Windows that sees Android mobile support added for running mobile apps on the PC platform as well as the Phone Link technology first seen with W10. To see a more secure platform revision the hardwares in most cases also have to reflect this.

The best recommendation here however is to get familiar with the minimum system requirements. In most cases the board or OEM manufacturer will have a list of board models that meet the minimum requirements. The Microsoft page for this is seen at:
