Windows 11 Insider Canary Canal
Hello all
I am unable to install an Insider build from Beta, Dev and Canary Channels.

Indeed, after a second restart, the installation hangs at 48% and nothing happens.

I searched the web, and apparently it was a driver problem.

I have all my drivers up to date, I don't know what else I can do.

I'm on the Release Preview channel

Thanks in advance,

Cordially,
Linkpa

Try creating an iso using uudump and mounting iso as a drive and running setup.exe.

If it was me... since you're already on a channel, I'd do a clean install to release, then sign up for the channel I wanted and do the updates.

Two old things that might still be causing problems :

1) not enough Disk space -- should be fairly easy to remedy that one
2) Too many USB devices attached while doing this install.

option nr 2) was a problem ages and ages agao -- not sure if this is even relevant any more -- but who knows "The Magic of Windows" --

Windows will these days reject install before commencing update (e.g hardware etc) so the fact its starting at all means the system is essentially compliant or at least "updateable".

Try and ensure you've done any necessary updates before this one. Otherwise as the previous poster says - install a clean system from another insider channel or even the basic current W11 22H2 version, then switch to the one you want e/g canary and then try update again.

ISO's available from uupdump etc.

Cheers
