I have the motherboard Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II. And windows did not detect the wifi device so I went to the product page and downloaded the latest wirless drive MediaTek WiFi Driver V3.5.0.1349 For Windows 10/11 64-bit. From this url

But when I try to click on asussetup.exe nothing happen . How I install the wifi driver ?

Download the Mediatek wifi driver from the DIY section of this forum and manually install it through Device manager.

From here ? I tried to email asus but they replied with canned answer

Yes, extract the zip file. Then go to Device manager/your wifi adapter and navigate to the folder where you extracted it and install it.

On the page of your motherboard the wifi drivers are labeled as MT7921/22 and the driver branch is 3.0/5 while MT7925/27 are on different driver branch 5.x. Did this driver work as you motherboard can come with Realtek wifi also?

Now in device manager i clicked on the little green arow and pointed to driver folder then i get message install successful but still now wifi. Here is a picture of my device manager

Problem solved I have Realtek RTL8852BE wifi + Bluetooth and running setup worked this time. With MSI board I never had these problems
