Hi! I hope someone can help, me because I'm banging my head on this issue for so many days....

Basically I am getting BSOD with WHEA uncorrectable error randomly while using google sheets large files and while just simply working, not heavy loads or gaming.

I tried windows 11 clean install and it still happens

I tried all sort of benchmark and stress test and I cant replicate the error (occt, memtest86 4 passes full test, linkpack, asus realbench, intel processor diagnostic tool, and many many more) and still can't trigger the error.

It seems to appear majorly while working on big files in google sheet (20k+ rows).

All the temperatures are constantly monitored with Hwinfo64 and the liquid coolant and liquid radiator and fans are all working perfectly fine. Getting this crashes at any temperature ranges.

Bios is fully upgraded and default settings are applied, no overclocking is present at the moment.

Windows is fully upgraded. No malware or virus are present.

The only suspect I have is about the RAM, they are not in the QVL list of the motherboard, but they pass every single stress test I throw at them.

With xmp profile enabled I cant boot without lowering the frequencies, but to solve this issues I have disabled XMP and running them at 2133mhz.

Still getting crashes even with xmp disabled, and in every case they pass every stress test without no issues.

With XMP disabled the crashes occours less but it still happens.

Any help would be really appreciated,

Thanks in advance guys ❤️

I'll wait for a new BSOD, who knows.... maybe uninstalling and cleaning the system from Kmos may have fixed it (fingers crossed)

Unfortunately, as stated in the first post, I cant reproduce the error whenever I want, it may happens a couple of time a day or 6 times in a row, doing simple query on big google sheet files.

I'll keep you posted, if new WHEA happens I have a partition ready for a clean install, where I will use a key from the beginning. Anyways, thanks for your help! Stay tuned:geek:

Swapping the key doesnt change what it could have done. Do a clean install. Not an in place upgrade, that keeps files
Hello! So.. of course I got the WHEA again on that windows 11 installation

I did then a fresh install, this time of Windows 10 to exclude that the issues could be related to some windows 11 bug.

Nothing changed, same WHEA on windows 10 fresh, just working on google sheet.

I think we can assume it's hardware related at this point, I am still thinking about the ram, but they pass stress test benchmark and everything else.... what do you think?

Thanks for your help

Memtest86 is designed to test for malfunctioning RAM.
It is not designed to test for incompatible RAM.

1) For testing purposes see if you can find one or more RAM modules on the QVL.

Crucial, Amazon, and other vendors may have options for returns as needed.

2) Uninstall: Driver Booster 9 9.5.0 IObit 20220924

3) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

chkdsk /b /v

Run the above chkdsk switches on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /b /v C: or chkdsk /b /v D: or chkdsk /b /v E: etc.

The above switches may take substantial time so run the Windows drive overnight.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /b /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

Reboot as needed.

Hello again!

So, Updates:

Tried brand new RAM in QVL nothing changed, still getting BSOD while using "heavy" google sheet files. Model used is GSKILL F4-4000C18D-16GTZR

Maybe unrelated, but both old and new ram fail to boot with xmp profile activated.

Done checking all the SSD's with everything and no error was found.

Thanks for your help!

Windows unfortunately typically does not identify the malfunctioning component when there are WHEA 124 bugchecks.

See if can find other hardware components for swap testing.

Some retailers may have restocking fees.

Swap test the CPU.

If the CPU swap creates stability then replace the CPU.

I just received a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR GSOD.
It's the first time I've ever seen it.

I looked at the dumps, but they didn't show anything.
I'm not gonna bother wasting time chasing the cause unless it happens again.
I've seen once only errors happen on computers before.
