Uninstalling applications seems to point to wrong place

if you right click a program in start menu and click uninstall it dumps you onto Control panel uninstall menu, and you have to find the application in list, its not highlighted or anything.
It also doesn't do notify you its deleted, you have to F5 to see its gone. No feedback

I thought they would have linked it to the Settings/Apps/Apps & Features menu since they are moving most things into settings/windows Tools menu

Will it be Windows 15 before they finally get rid of Control Panel?

Btw on final release of 11, if you install the winget app, you should be able to uninstall it via command line in powershell. Such as winget remove cortana.

I had to install it in my Insider, hopefully you wont have to on final release.

The 4 apps I deleted were those online versions of Office, so I assume they came from the store. The ones with the tiny icons
I just thought about it and it shouldn't be showing any of the menus after you click uninstall in the apps listing in start menu, in 10 it would just remove it from there, no extra menus.
It might still for non store apps, I don't tend to remove programs once they on here.

It probably depends on app. Even in W10, some win32 (not uwp apps) can be removed from apps menu, others need to go to older prgrams menu. I presume that is when the app does not use a standard uninstallation methodology?
