Hope this is the right place to post this.
I have built a new system (see specs listed below).
I started the PC for the first time today and it is highly unstable and has different BSODs constantly. It has also been freezing up in the bios.
System
Case: Corsair 5000x
CPU: Intel i9 13900K (PL1 and PL2 @ 253watts)
CPU AIO Cooler: Corsair H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT Liquid
Motherboard: Asus ProArt Z790 Creator WiFi Bios 0704 updated to 0816
Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600 2 x 16GB (failed the Asus Memtest86 from inside bios)
PSU: Corsair Rm1200 Shift
GPU: Sapphire Nitro RX 7900 XTX (this is from my old AMD system and it ran perfectly stable).
Hard drive: Samsung 980 PRO 2TB M2
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro
What I've tried
Installing an identical set of ram to that listed above. System freezes.
I've checked all connections from the PSU.
What I'm going to try next
Remove CPU from MB and inspect pins for damage
Reinstall AIO Cooler with new thermal paste.
I would like to update the bios from the old 0704 to the new one but an not willing to risk it with the system being so unstable.
I am starting to suspect faulty hardware.....
I am a retired IT Manager and have a lot of experience at building my own PC's. I've never struck anything as severe as this before.
Any help appreciated.
