Unused SSD - what to do?

I recently got a 4 TB Samsung NVMe drive and I used it to consolidate the contents of several small SSD drives 1/2 and 1 TB. What can I do with the drives? Reycle them?

There are so many things that you can do with them! Use them to store backup copies of important data. Keep one in case your new 4TB drive dies so that you can at least limp along on a smaller drive until the drive can be replaced, keep a backup of just the OS and most important files for rapid restore if needed.

Pay 20 or 25 bucks for an enclosure and make yourself a fast alternative to flash drives.

The week of black Friday enclosures will be much cheaper than that on Amazon.

Another suggestion, if you don't have a need for them consider a secure wipe and donate them to your local school IT department or whomever maintains the computers at your local library or senior center.
