Suddenly on my favorites bar an ‘Apps icon’ appeared, I did not add it and worse still, I can’t relocate it, edit it or remove it. Whilst no big deal on its own, I wonder what else is Win 11 doing that I have no control over?

Right click Apps Icon > Hide Apps button from Toolbar.

Or
3 Dots > Apps > View Apps > 3 dots > Hide Apps button from Toolbar.

Same as for most of those Toolbar icons.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the Favorites (star) button.
  3. Click the More options (three-dotted) button and select the Manage favourites option.
  4. Select the item.
  5. Click the Delete button.
This not available? It won’t delete?
Looks like the Fav button to me, Don’t know what it’s doing in the Fav’s bar.

Thanks to everyone for their help, I don’t use ‘Edge’, the prob was on chrome and with Edwins help I think I’ve cracked it.
