Upcoming Game Requiring AGESA V2 1.2.0.7 on Windows 11 w/AMD CPUs?

Hi guys. I am looking forward to the upcoming Dragon Age: Veilguard coming out next month, but am worried about one of the requirements. I have been reading that if on Windows 11, and using an AMD CPU, AGESA V2 1.2.0.7 or later is required. With further reading, found out that it is something that is in the System BIOS? My laptop has an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, and I got an "updated" BIOS through email from laptop manufacturer with a BIOS Build Date of 2/23/2023. I have ran both "CPUID CPU-Z", and "HWiNFO64", and both Programs make no mention of what version of AGESA is in my System BIOS. Should I be concerned? Is there another way I can check to see if AGESA is indeed installed? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

We need to know the make/model of the motherboard.
CPU-Z ...the "Mainboard" tab should show that.

Most BIOS downloads at the motherboard's website will tell you the AGESA version.


For example... my ASUS motherboard...



Under the latest BIOS, click "See All Downloads", and you'll see what I mean.

Select the game, click “Can you run it”

The AGESA V2 1.2.0.7 microcode was released in June 2022, some 8 months before the bios you were sent was dated, which is February 23rd, 2023. Surely this includes the aforementioned microcode update.

Have you tried contacting the laptop manufacturer about all this? They will know which version of AGESA is in their own bios.

Hey guys. Eluktronics emailed me back, said that my current AGESA is cezanne pi 1.0.0.b, and that is the latest Bios/Ec for my laptop. Should I still be worried or concerned? Thoughts and help appreciated
