Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (26200.9168)
Good afternoon,

I installed the latest Windows Update and it first forced my system into a series of system reboots -- installed update, reboot, then after reboot in a few minutes I am forced to reboot again. After ten times it did this, I went ahead and reformatted my system.

I had to disable Secure Boot before I could install Windows and now every time I go back into my BIOS and attempt to go back to the Key Management screen it hard locks in the BIOS.

As of now, Secure Boot is DISABLED and I'm trying to get back to a bootable desktop.

The current BIOS was just update today for my mobo, but it's another BETA bios and I'm unsure if I should attempt it -- I really don't want to completely brick my system as I cannot afford to get a new mobo.

After getting back to the desktop I am unable to access my NAS -- I can see it in Networking and can access the Web interface, but unable to map any drives

I'm curious if anyone has any ideas what happened and what I can do to fix this.

Thank you very much for your assistance......

Still trying to figure out what to do next about the rest.......

It took me about seventeen minutes (back to desktop) to dwnld and install with three reboots. Dism and scan disk ran with no errors detected. Looks like there is no problems.

I am still having problems....

While I'm back to a working desktop I can't enable Secure Boot as every time I go into the BIOS it hard locks.

If you're having problems entering the BIOS setup, that isn't a Windows issue.

Have you went to the motherboard's support web page to see if you can find a solution?

I just thought of two thing you can try. Reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery and wait a few minutes before reinstalling the battery or jumping the BIOS reset pins on the motherboard.

Thanks @Winuser for the response.

I didn't have to pop out my battery, but I was able to turn back on Secure Boot (according to msinfo32) -- it did take a couple of attempts (which is very strange).

For now, going to mark this is as SOLVED since I'm currently running 8037, have my NAS back and connected, and SB is enabled.
