Solved Updates don't show when in progress

I haven't been able to find out anything about this but, since I updated to Windows 11, for the most part, updates don't show when they are in progress. If I click on "Check for updates", the updates that are in progress show for less than a second then they disappear. The only way I've found to see them again is to hit "Check for updates". This may be a new feature but, I find it really irritating.

I don't have an answer for that particular issue, but you can always check which updates have been downloaded to your PC by checking Update History - Settings > Windows Updates > Update history.

I want to take an image backup of the disk when I get Win 11 up to date. If I can't see what's in progress, I don't have a good way to know when it is up to date.

I do have some more info to add though. I did an upgrade from Win 10 through windows update earlier today. Before that I had a lot of trouble getting Win 10 22h2 to go in and had to user the Windows Update Assistant. I don't know what but, that might have something to do with it.

I just gave you a way to see your latest updates. You're not going to make an image during an update so that shouldn't be an issue. Simply check the update history and dates.

Here's the deal. Window update says it's up to date but, when I hit "Check for updates", I see updates still loading. Seeing the updates that have already loaded really doesn't help me know whether those updates that I can't see anywhere else have loaded. There are multiples and I don't have time to note what they all are. Unless I get an answer here, I'm probably going to end up doing a clean install.
