Updating Win11 from 23H2 to 24H2 - Errors: 0x80070002, 0x80070490

Hey,
I am attempting to upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2 and I am getting the following errors:

2024-10-10 17:34:15, Error CSetupLangIniLoader::Initialize: Didn't find any language listed in LANG.INI.[gle=0x00000002]
2024-10-10 17:34:15, Error MOUPG CInstallUI::GetDefaultLanguage(2272): Result = 0x80070002[gle=0x00000002]
2024-10-10 17:51:23, Error MOUPG CSetupManager::GetDUSetupResults(8376): Result = 0x80070490
2024-10-10 17:51:26, Error MOUPG CDlpTask::Cancel(991): Result = 0xC1800104
Error log: C:\$Windows.~WS\Sources\Panther\setuperr.log

So far, I have done the following:
- sfc /scannow
- dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
- dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
- dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
- sfc /scannow
- uninstalling 3rd pary antivrus software (Malwarebytes)
- attempting to install from a new profile

And the problem keeps going.

I will be grateful for any help on how to resolve this.

I doubt I missed anything.

Is your update media from the same language set you have installed?

Sorry for the late response.

My update media is from the same language set I have installed.

The device is underspec; it is Intel i7-3770S, 16 GB RAM, GT630M.
I did not have issues to upgrade to any previous iteration of Win11, by using common tricks to bypass lack of TPM or the Secure Boot.

I don't think the problem is related to the new requirements of Win11, as now I am not even able to install any of the previous versions of Windows - the installer just never correctly kicks-off, leaving just a few lines in the log.
