If the backup drives are internal You may have to go to use "Disk Management" to assign Drive Letters to those drives. Using Windows Search type "Disk Management" without Quotation marks select Create & Format hard Disk partitions from the best results option if your backup disks are listed but show no Drive Letter then Assign one by Right-clicking and selecting Change Drive Letters and Paths.
If the Drives are external then try unplugging/plugging in the drive or try a different USB port.

It would help if you would complete the computer specs section in your forum profile so everyone here will know what you are working with.The more information we know the more the answers you get will better apply to your individual situation. To sum up what everyone has asked of you:
1. Did you update or upgrade to Windows 11?
And did you make a backup of Windows 10 before doing it?
2. More information on the drives. Internal or external? Sata or NVME? Do they show up in disk management?
Do they show up in bios?
If you have an Intel machine, while in bios check to see if Intel Rapid Storage Controller( IRST) is enabled. Depending on your bios It may be in the storage or Sata or VMD controller Management page. Is VMD enabled?

OK, I found the setting in your UEFI bios manual -page 76
It's under Storage Configuration. Under Sata mode Selection there are 2 choices - AHCI or Intel RST Raid
If it's set as Intel RST Raid in bios, make sure in Device Manager>Storage Controllers that you have the Intel IRST driver installed..
If it's set as AHCI in bios you should see only the default Microsoft storage controller.
