Tried to reinstalled driver and got error : Fail to Installed components : VIA XHCI Host Controller Driver V4.40D

Ideas or help?

So I surfed around a while and found VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.00B_WithAp,
I installed it, and it worked for about 10 hours
then my VIA USB 2 hub(s) broke with Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

Device VUSB\VID_2109&PID_3431\8&1bd886d1&0&1 requires further installation.

So installing the VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.00B_WithAp.exe fixes it for approximately 1 min
so I guess the hardware *mostly new USB 3.0 PCIe card* is dead or dying

any suggestions for an internal USB 3.0 card... the more ports the better

This post follows on from my USB issues last week....with me it's my USB 2.0 port that's not recognising any devices - on a laptop that is 3 weeks old too!! I am rapidly beginning to think that there is a glitch in Windows 11 and it has nothing to do with hardware failures at all. I got the same scenario as it recognised one of my mice initally and then when I put another mouse in it started playing up and now nothing works on the port whilst the other 2 USB ports on the other side of laptop work fine.

@jonwillpott yeah the 3.0 issue is now a 2.0 issue

Ok… So far, so good, 2 hours and 2 restarts later after watching this video
all my USB issues seam to be fixed all my peripherals are working
