I tried to post this in TPM section but "Post thread" button brings up choices which don't include to post in TPM.

----

I've flashed my BIOS recently which made it possible for software TPM provided by Intel to be detected in tpm.msc
Prior to that, when I was still using Win10 I thought I don't have TPM chip because tpm.msc did not report it.
I had no clue there is software based TPM called PTT in BIOS because my BIOS was out of date and this option was grayed out.

In BIOS I have 2 options, dPTT and PTT, enabling dPTT doesn't work because there is no hardware based TPM chip on my mobo,
but setting PTT works and this allowed me to install Windows 11, and that's what I'm using now for bit locker encryption and core isolation.

However starting from today in Windows security there is a warning:

When clicking on this:

There was also a warning for "Security processor" but since I restarted computer and toggled PTT to dPTT and back to PTT (for testing purposes to see if I have TPM), there was also a yellow triangle for this, but for some reason it's now gone.

Anyway, is there anything I can do to make this warning go away?

Here is screenshot from tpm.msc which reports PTT (software based TPM)
Btw. it also happens tpm.msc reports that there is no TPM at all sometimes, but I didn't take a screenshot, why would that be?

edit:
Clicking on "Core isolation details" from second screenshot, it shows this:

I should have done some research before making this thread...

This worked, but why don't I have "Local Security Authority Protection" option in windows security?
My last screenshot shows there is no such option.

I've taken a look into even viewer as well and there it says this:

LSA package is not signed as expected. This can cause unexpected behavior with Credential Guard.

PackageName: cloudap

LSA package is not signed as expected. This can cause unexpected behavior with Credential Guard.

PackageName: tspkg

LSA package is not signed as expected. This can cause unexpected behavior with Credential Guard.

PackageName: schannel

etc..

This are all Windows processes, anyway setting reg values made the warning disappear.

:shawn: There's always a Brink-link.
And if there isn't... it's because Microsoft hasn't figured it out yet. :-)

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
@Ghot
Yeah well, Brink is 10 years ahead of us lol.

I found out why there is not option in Windows Security:

Note: Microsoft has temporarily removed the Local Security Authority UI from the Windows Security app, but the feature is supported on Windows 11.

But I still have issue because in event view I'm supposed to see:
LSASS.exe was started as a protected process with level: 4
But I don't see this event.

Complications, stipulations, manipulations, and last but not least, "Frustrations".
I'm so glad that I just avoid all that crap! And I don't play those games! Life is too short!

OK, my mistake, I was pulling only warnings and errors with PS from event view, but this message is informational:

LSASS.exe was started as a protected process with level: 4.

It's there so it's all fine, I initially thought this has something to do with my TPM but turns out to be issue with windows.
Anyway it's solved.

How, are not also using Windows 11? :-)
