You didn’t give enough information of your hardware specs. Probably your pc is a dinasor!!
My dell T7500 work like a champ with 11 24h2!

The dates are when they were written, not when I installed them.
I believe I installed this... all-in-one on Oct 12th 2024

Like @jimhow4545 mentioned above... it will help us to answer your question, if we knew your hardware specs, and your exact Windows version.

You can find the exact Windows version number by typing winver in the Taskbar search box.
My Win 11 version is 26100.2033 ...for example.

For quick specs, you can use SPECCY (free), and just post a screenshot of the main page.

To post a screenshot on this forum...

1. Take the screenshot, (or camera pic), edit it as desired, save to your desktop as .png or .jpg (max. size = 2MB)
2. Left click in your post, where you want to place the screenshot.
3. Click the Attach Files button at lower left, browse to your pic and click Insert.
4. After clicking Insert, I usually choose the Thumbnail (smaller) option, or there is a Full Image (larger) option.

Some more info...

When encountering an error while installing the Visual C++ 2005 redistributable on Windows 11, the most likely causes are incompatibility with the newer operating system, potential file system conflicts, or issues with existing C++ redistributables already installed; often requiring you to either run the installer with administrator privileges, try a different version of the redistributable, or potentially clean up existing installations before attempting to install the older version again.

When you use that all-in-one installer, you have the option to install them all at once, or one at a time.
Maybe go into Control Panel > Programs and features and UN-install Visual C++ 2005, first, then try reinstalling just the 2005 ones.

Ok, I think I've got it figured out. They MAY have to be installed in... order.
So, since I have a fresh backup, made yesterday... I uninstalled ALL the Visual C++ versions, starting with the newest versions first.
I did not reboot after all the uninstalls.

Then... I used the techpowerup download, extracted it to a "new" folder on my desktop, and just ran the install_all.bat file ...and they all installed from oldest to newest.
They all installed fine, but see the pic below... the version numbers on the newest ones, changed a bit.

Compare with my screenshot above, to see the differences.
All the install dates, now show as... today.

NOTE: When I UNinstalled them all... nothing broke. But I didn't DO anything... except install them again.

Btw... I have games from 1995 to 2003 on here. They all work fine.

Dear @Ghot thank you very much for the support, I found the cause after many other new programs threw this

The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder.

and after checking Temp folder folder and its permission they all ok, and then I discovered that when I was cleaning Temps folders after windows installs and apps temp files I noticed I nuked Windows\installer folder by mistake lol. restored it and all good 2005 installed right away so yeah its a very misleading code
good thing I remember what I nuked exactly to restore
thanks to you all again, am leavin this here so people wont have to reinstall windows for a simple fix

Just did a full Disk to image using Symantec™ GHOST Live CD and saved it incase of any bad luck in the future
