My Social media and other software under chrome and edge seems to be having some problems displaying some videos and images on my desktop PC. Which causes a delay and blurry images. Some take a few seconds and some never show at all. Win 11. xfinity Dl 948.37 Mbps Up 180.13 Mbs I'm trying to see if it's internet problem or a Computer problem. PC is only 5 months old. Here's two png screenshots of videos and reels from FB as examples.
Here's video examples as well.

Not sure about online videos, but usually graphics glitches are due to drivers. Make sure you download the latest official drivers directly from nVidia, don't rely on Windows Update. After installation confirm the screen resolution is set to the maximum (native) supported by the monitor and that you have press the Auto button on the monitor to optimize the image. Also check that hardware acceleration is enabled in the browser and try another browser for comparison.

It could be a DNS or CDN not replying fast enough to network requests.

Press F12, and in Network tab, check the timeline. You may see that responses arrive with an important delay.
Is there an easer way to check the DNS and the CDN other than the F12 option? I'm not sure I know what I'm looking at with f12. Maybe a link to a tool in a website. Is it possible I can get a DNS/CDN at no cost? Is this comom even know my speed test with xfinity/comcast is Dl 948.37 Mbps and Up 180.13 Mbs.? Also my PC is only 6 months old? Thanks for your feed back.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough.

I tried to pinpoint two elements of the network that might be causing the problem. DNS translates the URL domain name into an IP address, and the CDN is the servers that hosts the site.

There may be a delay in the DNS resolution, or one of the servers (CDN) hosting the site may be responding slowly. You can change the DNS (it is an IP address stored in your network configuration), but not the CDN.

In my view, it's essential to use a network tool to identify the source of the problem. That's why I mentioned the F12 tools, which allow you to track the timing of each stage of the request.

After pressing F12, then Network tab, press F5 to view a list of requests. The Time column indicates the duration of each step. Each step should take only a few milliseconds. If something takes several seconds, that's where the problem lies.

Ok now i understand it. When I press f5 I can see exactually what you mean. I guess the good news is that all the steps were milliseconds. I bought this PC about 6 months ago and the specs of this pc are good enough to handle social media images and videos, at least I would think so. So is it commom for a new pc with my speeds from Xfinity/Comcast Dl 948.37 Mbps Up 180.13 Mbs to have this problem? Also it's not just FB, but sometimes a short delay from other websites that try to DL a image. But not as bad. But these examples of these videos I provided do show up, but not immediately like others. The PC is still under warranty, just hope I don't have to take it in.Thanks for your time and if you can think of anything else let me know, no rush. Also I tryed disabling/enabling hardware acceleration in my browser., I tryed a clean install of my video driver. I disabled all of my Add-Ons. Also reset flags. I cleared my browser cache and cookies. I'm useing WIn 11 /Windows Security/Microsoft Defender. I've done a network reset.

The delays in most websites are not images or videos but choosing a random ad to display. I have noticed it too. There is a small delay every time some ads change. This is especially annoying when watching a series online in full screen and the video pauses for a few seconds while selecting a random ad. It displays the ad and then resumes playing the series.

Nothing to see here. Just a widespread problem with DNS name resolution in windows 11. The consequence of trying to force people into allowing their devices to be an endless conduit for advertisement.

None. Manully configured so nobody except me can change any critical system files. (Don't ask how, it's probably against some rule somewhere)
Precisely, that's the cause of delay. DNS resolving of the next ad to display. Using an ad blocker might help but some sites refuse to work until you disable the ad blocker.

The point is that your hardware and drivers and browser settings have nothing to do with it. So I would not worry about doing something wrong or missing something.

Try to open sites in an InPrivate/Incognito mode. To do this, right click on browser taskbar icon or on tree-dots upper right menu and select something like "Private browsing".

There will be no cookie, no 3rd party extension. You will need to log in again on websites that require you to sign in to access their content. This is temporary; it only applies on the incognito mode window.

That's good advice, that's about the only thing I haven't tryed yet. That would have ruled out a few things, but it's still has the same outcome. I also tryed disabling/enabling hardware acceleration in my browser., I tryed a clean install of my video driver. I have no add-ons. Also reset flags. I cleared my browser cache and cookies. I'm useing WIn 11 /Windows Security/Microsoft Defender. It does it in Firefox and Edge as well. I've done a network reset. I just hope I don't have to take it back to the store. I mean it's only 6 months old. Warranty is still good. Thanks for the feed back and If you think of anything else let me know, no rush. THX

What about using an ad blocker to prevent popup windows. Try that and see if it makes any difference. Once again your hardware is OK, so Warranty won't help you. The Warranty terms don't cover software issues because they are seen as user intervention.

Some years back we could use a really old browser, such as Netscape Navigator (predecessor of Firefox) that did not understand ads, so it just showed the site. However, today old browsers cannot open any sites, including the recent Internet Explorer 11, so this is no longer a workaround. The real solution is to use an ad blocker to block as many ads as possible, however as I already said some sites refuse to show if they detect an ad blocker and tell you to disable it to proceed. You can choose to avoid these sites or disable ad blocker at your own risk as these sites might hide malware. It is not necessary to globally disable ad blocker, some let you add an exception only for specific sites while remain enabled for the rest.

PS: Just for the record, while a couple of years ago you could search with Google in Internet Explorer 11 and then spoof your user agent (pretend IE11 is a different browser) to open some "unsupported" sites, now Google has completely disabled searching. You can open the main Google site but any search produces a compatibility error. You could spoof the user agent to watch YouTube and Netflix. Now these changed their code and IE11 cannot play any videos.

A different approach: I open those sites that won't accept ad blockers in Sandbox. It doesn't leave tracks and it starts fresh every time you open it. It's a bit frustrating to watch all those ads (reminds of the 90s when pop-ups were a constant thing), but it does work.

I turned off windows Sandbox in windows features. Is that what you were wanting me try ? I did and it still has the same issues. Also it will do it accessing a video reel and somtime images on other websites. I tryed ublock origin lite, still the same. I apprecate your help. Is this possibly it's not a software problem and hardware problem? I tryed so many things. I tryed disabling/enabling hardware acceleration in my browser., I tryed a clean install of my video driver. I disabled all of my Add-Ons. Also reset flags. I cleared my browser cache and cookies. I'm useing WIn 11 /Windows Security/Microsoft Defender. I've done a network reset, etc.
