Hi, I am trying to show a presentation video from my laptop to a big screen but I do not want the video controls to show on the second screen,
I have Googled the problem and tried all the recommendations, the problem seems to be under the taskbar behaviours because the
" When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on " is dulled out and unusable.
any help would be appreciated as I have the presentation to do very shortly

The video controls aren't associated with the taskbar, what video application are you using? I use VLC, and I can put it full-screen on my secondary monitor and the controls on the primary monitor.

Hi , I am trying the video on Windows media player legacy also on media player and microsoft Clipchamp .

Consider trying VLC as it offers the functionality that you are asking about.

I found this with an Internet Search, it's a Google Drive shared folder with all the instructions. You should be able control it from the second monitor without the controls appearing on the primary screen at all.

Many thanks for your help and you are quite correct about the taskbar not appearing on the second screen when using VLC ,
the taskbar wasn't the problem because I can eliminate that in the settings it was just the video controls that I was trying to stop showing
on the second monitor, I have had a look at the link you kindly sent and I think its a little beyond my capabilities !
