This tutorial will show you how to view, rename, delete, share, or export your Bing Chat conversation history in Copilot for your account in Windows 11 and Windows 10.

A preview of Copilot in Windows will start rolling out with the next wave of continuous innovation in Windows 11 version 22H2 KB5030310 Build 22621.2361 on September 26, 2023. Copilot in Windows adds AI to your Windows 11 experience to help you find answers, complete tasks, and be more productive. With Copilot, people can quickly make sense of long articles on the web, craft and polish content, or create stunning images--all directly within the Windows 11 experience.

After installing Windows 10 build 19045.3754, Windows Insiders in Release Preview with eligible devices running Windows 10, version 22H2 who are interested in experiencing Copilot in Windows as soon as possible when Microsoft begins rolling it out in the near future, can choose to do so by turning on Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available and Check for updates. This will be a phased launch via controlled feature rollout (CFR) over the coming months. Windows 10 Pro edition devices on version 22H2 that are managed by organizations will not be included in the initial rollout of Copilot in Windows. Windows 10 Enterprise and Education edition devices on version 22H2 will also not be included in the initial rollout of Copilot in Windows.

Windows Copilot will use the same Microsoft account (MSA) or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) account used to sign-in to Windows.

Windows Copilot will appear as a side bar docked to the right where it won’t overlap with your desktop content and will run unobstructed alongside your open app windows, allowing you to interact with Windows Copilot anytime you need.

Chat history is a saved list of the requests and responses, including any images, from your interactions with Copilot in Windows. Your chat history can be found by using the Chat history icon within the Copilot pane or at bing.com/chat. You can delete previous chats individually at any time.

Copilot in Windows uses Bing Chat, but if you’re signed into your Windows device with a work or school account, Copilot in Windows might use Bing Chat Enterprise. When you're using Bing Chat Enterprise, chat history isn't available and the chat pane displays the following message: "Your personal and company data are protected in this chat."

Starting with Windows 11 build 26100.712 (RP), build 26227.5000 (Canary), and build 26120.751 (Dev), Microsoft is evolving the Copilot** experience on Windows as an app that will be pinned to the taskbar. This enables users to get the benefits of a traditional app experience, including the ability to resize, move, and snap the window.

Hello mate, :alien:

When exporting a chat to Word, it does so to the online Word that requires you to sign in to the site with your Microsoft account first.

You can export a chat to a PDF or TXT file on your desktop without it requiring to sign in first. Of course, you have to already be signed in to the Chat app though.

Please say, if i could export to pdf all the chats in a session. That would be easy for continuance of conversation. Normally I ask typical queries and then detailed queries inside the topic, so, is there any way to export the whole conversation to a pdf or txt.

Please say , how, I tried to export, only the chat that was replied by copilot for a query is shown in pdf and not entire chat.
As I have pointed out, you use copilot to know the intricacies of a certain thing, how works, etc, by first just asking a query and then ask queries , on the specifics , on the replies given by the copilot.
Copilot is a real boon to the society, in it goes deep to the data base and comes with precise answers , notably true answers. Yesterday, I had chat with it on mpc-hc configuration and I wanted to preserve it. But only one conversation could be selected when clicking export. Please say, how to export total chat as pdf or as text

When you select to Export a specific chat (conversation) to PDF in the Chat app, it should then open the Print dialog where you can select either "Save as PDF" or "Microsoft Print to PDF", and click on Save or Print to do so.

It just opened the chat conversation in Word online for me. You could then save it to the desktop afterwards though.
