Virtual memory turned off

Can windows trim turn off virtual memory? I had a situation where Firefox kept crashing because virtual memory was turned off after I had turned it on because of the problem.

No, TRIM is a storage optimization and performance feature that works specifically on SSD drives only. It does not have any impact on memory management nor does it delete data that hasn't already been marked for deletion by other means.
