Trying to use Windows 11 "Voice Access" to dictate To Excel. This is what I get when I dictate $2.39
'2 dollars (and 30 9 cents'; If I say it other ways, I get
2 (Pt. 3
2 dot 30 9
2 30 9

I used the same program a few days ago, and it worked fine (though a bit slow, it was accurate). Has anyone had this problem, or is there a solution? I would be grateful for any suggestions!

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried that & same thing happened...it entered the 'text' ('2 decimal point 39'), rather than the number ('2.39'). I'm wondering if Voice Access (or maybe most 'dictation' software is like this: great for text, but not for accounting purposes?

Does anyone out there use a voice dictation program for spreadsheets & could you suggest software that works?
