Hello forum members,

Yesterday I have installed the latest beta version from windows insiders of W11, there is also a new startmenu in it with programs sorted in catagories, my question is is it possible to put there my own program icons in, is there a workaround for it because the normal way is not working, I hope that I have made it clear for you all because my English language is not so good.

Here's the reg patch to get the new Start Menu... if you're feeling frisky.

To enable the new Start Menu, use the registry patch at the bottom of this post.
To disable the new Start Menu... just delete the "14" key (folder), located here... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\FeatureManagement\Overrides\14

Currently Windows arranges the category view and doesn't allow user editing. Thus the reason I prefer using the Grid view option myself. Same goes for the menu size, Windows selects if you get the small 6 column or large 8 column menu.

No biggie. Kimball has his account set up to do email alerts I believe.
He always shows up within a day or two from when I mention him.
