Solved Walmart is forcing me to sign in!

This morning I typed in walmart.com, and got a page requiring me to sign in! I'm not allowed to get into Walmart until I sign in!

I do have a "membership" that I must have created, but until today, I've been allowed to shop at Walmart (look at what's for sale).

Hmmm, I wonder if I'm going to be required to carry a WallyWorld card to get inside the brick and mortar building!?!

At any rate, I dislike being required to have a WallyWorld membership in order to check a price, etc.

@Wynona Your post prompted me to type walmart.com in my Edge browser. I do have a Walmart account and have made online purchases in the past. I was able to browse and check prices without logging in. I use LastPass and when choosing to log in, the process works as expected. Everything works just fine whether I'm logged in or not.

Do you use a password manager? Perhaps you have a PM set to automatically log in?

I see you are an experienced user but have you cleared your browser cache and cookies?

Could it be Walmart randomly targetting some users to sign-in. Maybe tomorrow it might let you in without signing in.

I went to Privacy & Security and changed a setting, but now it has dumped all my other settings! But, I could get into Walmart.

However, it now looks like some of my settings have changed.

Dangit! I have to leave for League Pool right now and don't have time to troubleshoot!

Tomorrow is another day.

My wife and I only have to sign-in when we want access our Walmart Pharmacy account. I just went to Walmart.com and wasn't asked to sign-in.

Yep same is happening to me on my android phone. I use Soul Browser on my phone and I needed to look for something. I cant until I sign in, but I signed in yet it goes right back to the sign in/fill in email page, so I am never logged in. Very odd behavior. I dont like it.

Nope, I don't either!

I think I have it solved for now, but I'm going to wait until tomorrow to see if things go sideways again.
