This tutorial will show you how to watch and unwatch forums and threads for your account here at ElevenForum.com.
When you post a thread or post in a thread here at ElevenForum.com, that thread will automatically be added to your watch list, and you will receive alerts and emails by default to notify you of any replies in the watched thread.
You can easily manage your watched forums and threads to either unwatch or enable/disable email and alert notifications for them.
You must be logged in to the site to manage your watched forums and threads.

This will not affect threads you already watch.
If you want to unwatch a currently watched thread, you will need to manually unwatch it.
1 Click/tap on your Account button on the toolbar, and click/tap on Preferences. (see screenshot below)
2 Perform the following actions you want under Content options: (see screenshot below)
- Check (on) on uncheck (off) Automatically watch content you create.
- If you checked Automatically watch content you create, then check (email) on uncheck (alerts) and receive email notifications.
- Check (on) on uncheck (off) Automatically watch content you interact with.
- If you checked Automatically watch content you interact with, then check (email) on uncheck (alerts) and receive email notifications.
1 Open the forum (ex: "News") you want to watch or unwatch.
2 Click/tap on the Watch or Unwatch button on the forum toolbar. (see screenshots below)
3 If Unwatch, click/tap on Unwatch to confirm. (see screenshot below)
4 If Watch: (see screenshot below)
- Select (dot) "Send notifications for" New threads, New messages, or Don't send notifications for what you want.
- Select (dot) "Send notifications via" Alerts or Emails for what you want.
- Click/tap on Watch to save.
1 Open the thread you want to watch or unwatch.
2 Click/tap on the Watch or Unwatch button on the thread toolbar. (see screenshots below)
3 If Unwatch, click/tap on Unwatch to confirm. (see screenshot below)
4 If Watch: (see screenshot below)
- Select (dot) "Watch this thread" and receive email notifications or without receiving email notifications (alerts) for what you want.
- Click/tap on Watch to save.
1 Click/tap on the Watched button on the menu bar, and click/tap on Watched forums in the drop menu. (see screenshot below)
2 Click/tap Manage watched forums, and click/tap on Disable email notifications or Stop watching forums in the drop menu to be applied to all your watched forums. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on Proceed to confirm. (see screenshots below)

2 Check the watched forums you want to manage. (see screenshot below)
You will see the current enabled action(s) (ex: "Alerts" or "Emails") under the check box for each watched forum.
3 Select the action below you want in the With selected drop menu:
- Enable email notification
- Disable email notification
- Enable alerts
- Disable alerts
- Stop watching
1 Click/tap on the Watched button on the menu bar, and click/tap on Watched threads in the drop menu. (see screenshot below)
2 Click/tap Manage watched threads, and click/tap on Disable email notifications or Stop watching threads in the drop menu to be applied to all your watched threads. (see screenshot below)
