You're totally missing the point. Some of the devices that don't qualify to run Windows 11 are only a few years old and meet all the specs except MS said no to the CPUs. They do allow a couple of their older devices to run Windows 11. MS did a introduction of Windows 11 that included OEM devices that were soon to be released with Windows 11. I'm sure they were paid advertisements. Now they're introducing their own Windows 11 devices that are going to be released when Windows 11 is released. Ending support for older device that can't run the OS is one thing but not allowing devices that are only a few years old and can run the OS is another. IMHO MS is proving that Windows 11 is more about profit than it is security.

From what I've read ms has backtracked and now offers a disclaimer to agree to knowing you're at risk on older hardware

Now whether this disclaimer is just like or worse than the "get more out of windows 10" bs popping up or if it hits you every restart no telling.

There is no reason that MS can't allow devices that are only a couple of years old and meet all the requirements except the CPU to upgrade to Windows 11. IMHO it more about selling new computers and devices than it is about security.
