Re-purposing old PCs is the most sensible approach. Considering how buggy Co-Pilot and other AI apps are with Win 11 and the fact that it is possible to accomplish much without them there really is no good reason to spend on expensive new hardware in these hard economic times.

This is probably why you can hardly find people playing on PC these days. Everyone switched to console because consoles are cheaper than RAM these days.
