My neighbor wanted to get back into gaming and has been talking to me about playing Call of Duty. He got an Xbox Series X, and i said I would get it, but for my PC as I prefer to play shooters on my PC.

Downloaded the game on Saturday, configured my graphics, played 4-5 matches. Did absolutely awful, was like 5 kills and 50 deaths.

Went to play on Sunday, fired up the game and noticed it was taking a long ass time to find a match in the lobby. Checked my account and am shadowbanned again. I last played in May. I cannot believe anybody would have reported me for cheating with my roughly 0.2 K/D ratio in the new game. I almost suspect I was on the shadowban list when i played Saturday night and that could be why i got totally smoked in the shadow ban lobby. But like I said, I haven't played since May....so 6 months ago.

Anyway, this sucks. Gotta sit around and wait 7-10 days for Activision to clear this and allow me back into normal lobbies.

Well, I was resiting purchasing this game (Lords of the Fallen) until I saw Steam had it on sale for 30% off for the Deluxe Edition. I've not even finished Elden Ring yet! I guess I'm on an Elden Ring hiatus.

Some of the games seem to be more playable with a gamepad, which I don't have at the moment.

Prey and the Outer Wilds are good games. I've not played the others. After the semester ends and I finish grading, I'll be playing Lords of the Fallen for a bit!

Souls-like games are a new category to me. Lies of P is also Souls-like and on my Steam Wishlist, it has had some good reviews.

I'll have to check out Lies of P. I've seen it but haven't really looked into it that much. I'm digging The Lords of the Fallen soundtrack.

Played Elden Ring 3 Times but never got to the end always something comes up and I either end up reinstalling windows or I have to leave for a week or 2 it is just a Roller Coaster :-)

Considering I break down gear for crafting (or sell gear for creds) I always hit those drops.

And since I'm going the Netrunner route, I can clear the area without firing a single shot or being seen via Quickhacks. Easy peasy :p

These types of games are pay2win however Forge of Empire is very much different, you can win without spending much or anything at all.
I play this game for some 3 months, at first it looks like some stupid city builder but soon you discover it's very different beast.

Certainly recommending to try out.
The support is awesome, forums are active and above all game is addictive and fun.
There is huge social factor because you play with and against other people.
combat plays huge role but there are many other ways to play this game.
