Can someone tell me why they've changed the output files? It used to yield a final ISO file that one could use with Rufus but now all I see is a folder called ISOFOLDER which doesn't appear to be bootable. How does one go about making the bootable ISO file? I just want to make a bootable pen drive for a specific build of Win11 (22H2.221621.819) like I've done so easily before with UUCP downloads.

In the download method, there is an option to tick "Download and convert to ISO" , did you tick that before downloading ?

That will download a ZIP file. Extract it to your desktop and then double click this command (for Windows),
to create the ISO.
The ISO will be created in this folder.
WAIT for it to finish... it will TELL you when it is finished.

When all finished you'll have an ISO file, like one of these...

What "build" (version), are you looking for... exactly?

That "warning" is just a warning. As long as the computer you're creating the ISO... ON, is Win 10 2004 or newer, you'll be fine.
They probably had com plaints from people on Windows 10 version... 1809? or something, complaining of broken ISO images.
And so they felt they needed to include a warning. I see the same thing.
And I am on Win 10 22H2 (newest), which would be... Win 10 2209 by the old naming scheme.

I'm running it right now... we need to wait till it's finished.


It "looks" like it's working for me. It's not finished yet. When it is I'll post a pic of exactly what the command prompt window looks like when it's done. During the download and creation it starts on a black command prompt window, then "looks" like it's done, but it isn't.
It then switches to a BLUE command prompt window and continues.


Still going...


On a side note... is there some particular reason you don't just download the ISO from Microsoft?

I checked ALL the boxes... so mine is still going LOL

I can even now see that the ISOFOLDER... IS the ISO... it's just unassembled, till it's finished adding junk.
I'm stopping this then. Glad you got it working.

As I mentioned... you can just download the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft, which is a lot simpler.
