I find myself using the calculator to compute many percentages, and something I've never been able to figure out, or even get a suitable answer from a search engine, is what key or combination of keys can I use to enter the % function? I can do everything else on the builtin keypad on the far right of my keyboard, but when I get to the % part, I have to reach up and use the mouse to click the screen key % that is in the standard calculator display.

Anyone know how I can use just the keyboard for a % function?

What keyboard layout do you have?
On my US-International Keyboard I have the % key as Shift 5.
When I start the Calculator App (via a special extra key on my keyboard), type 25 [shift 5] * 10 it brings 2,5 (which is right).

Otherwise you will have to remap a keyboard key to have a quick % key.
You'll have to decide which key, as you will lose the original function of that key.
You can find lots of stuff about remapping by searching the web "remap keyboard keys".
Since I use a keyboard with some programmable extra keys, I don't use remapping anymore, so I don't know anymore what exact trick I used for that before (until about 8 years ago).

Yes, I use the US-International Keyboard here in the USA. I do know how to get percentages using the old-fashioned long multiplication method, but I was really just hoping there is a keyboard key combo to enter the % in the calculator that comes with Windows11. I appreciate your reply, however!

Yes, of course, that is the answer, staring me in the face all this time. But that's what I was looking for, no doubt. I can be so dense at times.......
