Regrettably, ASHA does not work on all android phones.
I consider it as a necessary evil. I hardly touch it at home, but I also use it for everything when at work, like banking, news, listening to music via BT headphones, etc. Notifications connected to my watch are pretty useful. But I would rather pick a book than the phone.
It's there when I need it. I do use my phone for phone calls, text messaging and Internet. When I access my bank account from my desktop they keep asking me to use their mobile app. Sorry bank but I have no desire to use my phone to do any banking. My son is the opposite. He does just about everything on his phone. I have seen him swipe his phone to pay for stuff at stores that offer it.
I forgot about using it for 2FA codes.
