So, when my Samsung note 10+ is connected via Bluetooth to my Win 11 laptop, I can enable calls, but not audio. When slide the Audio button on, it immediately slides back off. (see pic)This phone connects with all my other devices and plays audio on them. Only with this Windows machine does it fail. I've tried all the fixes I could find. FYI, I do have a MOTU M2 digital interface attached to this laptop. I use it for MIDI/Audio IN/OUT on the computer using Reaper DAW. Could the interface be the problem?

Only one way to find out... Disconnect the interface from your laptop.

Kind regards,

There's not enough bandwidth to have both BT audio for calls and music enabled at the same time. Windows is terrible at context switching between the two.

I've had similar issues, with random results. So I've given up on advanced BT audio on Widows altogether. Either I only use it for music listening through my headphones, or I only use it for audio calls, turning completely off the feature I don't use.

Tried switching off "Calls" and switching on "Audio only." No go. Audio immediately switches its self off. Did it with the MOTU disconnected, still no good. I guess I'll have to abandon Windows as you did.

Windows BT is tricky. Some drivers don't work properly, others are missing half the stack, making certain features unavailable. Also it makes a huge difference which WiFi/BT module one uses.

I used to have plenty of computers with Realtek modules (laptop) and had a lot of issues, then I swapped them out for Intel ones (10-20€ upgrade depending on module) and most issues went away.

I have a Samsung S25 and an Intel AX211 wireless card in my laptop.

Same result with Bluetooth as #1 post, either instantly Audio goes to off and disconnected or shortly afterwards. Can't connect message.
Then you have to through the unpair/pair again...again...again. Even then that is almost impossible.
Add a device to connect then gets an infinite dots under title bar. Matching 4 digit code then fails to enable pairing then connection.

Troubleshooter runs until it ends up in an infinite twirly circle, and a reference to problem back to 24H2.
Bluetooth Avrcp Transport Driver is dated 24/11/2025.

In short it just does not work.
