Where to get driver for touch screen N-trig technology

My touch screen is working when I touch with finger but does not respond to active Hp pen (HP Pen 1MR94AA Digital Stylus Pen with 2 Programmable Buttons).
Word ink toolbar is also gray,
It is a Hp envy 13-ba0010 laptop and there are no drivers related to touch screen on their website.
I guess I need some software/driver related to N-trig technology.

I dont want to install fresh copy of windows.

I don't have an HP Pen to test, so I can't really help, but you may want to mark this 'unsolved' so more people will notice and possibly be able to help. Being marked solved already most people might ignore it.

DuoSense® was N-trig’s last integrated pen and touch software before they were bought by Microsoft in 2015 so MS could use the technology on the Surface Pen. I checked the Windows Update Catalog and the latest driver listed for n-trig is for window 7 and dated 2011 Microsoft Update Catalog.

I am confused because the specs on your laptop shows you have a relatively new 10th gen cpu which would indicate to me that since N-trig Duosense has not been used on systems since 2015 some other touch technology driver would be used on your laptop.

I suggest that you contact HP support which will not be a pleasant experience but you just have to stay with it until you can get to someone who can help you.

Please be aware there are basically two types of "pens" for touchscreens - Active and passive. The laptop itself will determine which pen is supported and should be stated somewhere in the owner's manual. My Lenovo laptop only supports an active pen, NOT a passive pen.

Windows itself does not determine which pen the monitor supports, that's up to the manufacture and it's driver package.

The pen says that uses "Latest N-trig technology" and wanted to give it a try.
After windows update the touch screen disappeared. Now only works with finger. I have some voltron next window driver 2006 for the touch screen.
Hp suggestions are fresh install.

I lost the touch screen after windows update.
I not 100% sure but i think should work with some of the basic active pens.

1) If the screen worked before you did the update, then it sounds like a driver, not a "pen" issue.
2) Your owner's manual should state which pens are supported.
