why after I added c: drive to indexing options, searches of c: only show f: drive results?

my f: drive is a clone of c: drive I made for backups in case I need to restore my c: drive, and I named it clone of c

Also I can not separate f: from C: in advanced indexing options, however in the plain view, it does not show c: included in the index

When I select c:, it forces f: to be selected also

If I'm remembering correctly, having the original system drive and a cloned drive connected at the same time can cause problems with the system drive getting confused.

For sure, two drives with same OS and BCD can cause problems.

I changed it back, and rebuilt the index, this shows now
Internet Explorer History??? why is that in this. I thought IE is dead.

I appreciate cloning but why would you keep the cloned drive connected, it serves no purpose.
The cloning software I’ve used makes a point of starting to remove one of the drives

It may be dead but it's not gone. I just did a search for Internet Explorer and go a long list of IE files.

I think IE is like WordPad, going away but not completely. WordPad is the successor to Win3.1's Write, put write.exe in a Run box and it will open WordPad. The write.exe file in C:\Windows is a pointer to bring up the newer. IE is only a pointer to Edge, I think because so many things point to IE like Web pages/sites, program installations, etc., so something still has to workable for those needs.
