If this happens only occasionally, it would not be the setting mentioned in that video. I'd be looking at updating the graphics driver. Your specs (which are not complete)show you have Windows 7. Fill out your specs along with version of windows and what kind of monitor you are using. If you are indeed running windows 11 and dependent on the age of your hardware there may be no updated graphics driver. When this happens do you have color/display issues elsewhere without issues? Screenshots are always helpful so we can see what you see.
Where did you get that idea. I use discrete graphics and update them every time Intel releases a new one and this computer is 5 years old..
To each his own. I'm not that paranoid. I'm not a a system builder so all my machines are OEM. If the OEM says a new driver is for my hardware, then I update it. If Intel scans my hardware and says a new graphics driver is available, I update it. Many drivers (and bios updates) being updated these days are due to security issues, not performance issues. While I've never had drivers from these sources not work, I always protect myself with images and backing up old drivers. I have more trust my in my OEM or Intel than I do WU to handle my drivers.
