This Windows niggle has been annoying me for years so not just Windows 11. For a while now I have had SSD storage so there should be no slowness that HDDs can suffer from.
Example -
Today using File Explorer I deleted numerous files totalling 3.47GB file in 2 seconds but Disk Cleanup took about 5 min 30 seconds to delete 2.33GB.
I know Microsoft are deprecating 'Disk Cleanup' in favour of 'Storage / Cleanup recommendations' and maybe it is a long standing, well-known Windows Disk Cleanup gripe that Microsoft never fixed but I'd be interested to hear if others find the same.
