why does my sound intermittently cut out and how to fix?

I have the Logitech G933 headset. Intermittently, the sound will cut out. There's usually one beep, either then there's reduced sound or no sound, followed by another beep, then the sound comes back.

I noticed in the event log, errors are thrown with the even IDs:
10016
1014
10016
7040
7040
10016
Any idea how to fix this?

Have you tried different headset to found out if sound problem not caused by the headset?
