Since 8 Jan have had the diagnostic:

Wi Fi” doesn't have a valid IP configuration

I have the problem on 2 Lenovo PCs. One on Win 10 and mine on Win 11.
Also 2 Android phones, no problem on these. A TP Link Deco router.

Its intermittent, occasionally it “fixes” itself then 30 min later internet access fails again. The timing is not the same on the PCs, i.e. one might work and the other not. There is no known preceding event, no hw or sw changes.

I have executed every action described on the tech sites; reboots, resets, reloads, new SSID, driver updates etc; many times. I have not successfully set the IP addresses manually. Still have the problem.

Does anybody have ideas.

Have I given adequate information?

Many Thanks
dermot

I think I have found it.

With a mesh WiFi router you need to reboot each node separately.. I was only rebooting the node attached to the modem.
Today I rebooted the node next to the PCs, and so far it works
