Hello,


When I right click on a file and click on "Open With" the dialog box goes on the top left corner on my screen and I cannot move the dialog box.

For example, I have a .png which for some reason isn't associated to any program so of I double click on it, I cannot even see the dialog box. I can only partially (~50%) see "Just Once", but I cannot interact with it.

I tried the basic thing : rebooting, searching for updating, antivirus scan.

Is your screen resolution set properly?

Can you Tab/Arrow through the dialog until you see something come up highlighted?

Thanks for you reply.
In fact, the Open With dialog box is grey out. It is asking me to "Pick an app".
I managed to open it by running a new task from Task Manager.
I will give a try Reset and Restore Default Apps for File Types

Yes, it is. I also reinstalled NVIDIA drivers.
I think I'm gonna back up my data and reinstall Windows. I'm having too many problems and DISM cannot fix it.

Both "Always" and "Just Once" buttons seem to be grayed out. I can do some alt tabs to set the focus and them, but they seems to be disabled.

Additionnal info : Windows 11 store is missing.
The (elevated) powershell command Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage fails wirh HRESULT 0x80073C78

also - you can install the store appx from winaero. it'll be outdated, but just launch after install and it'll update itself

I think when right clicking the desktop is not possible, WIndows & drivers at up-to-data, DISM cmds done, Eset scan (I was not expecting much) it is about time to save data on another drive and make a fresh install of Windows 11.
I really feel like I am wasting both your time and mine.

EDIT : I almost forgot to mention it, but Windows Explorer is not working either. Explorer++ works like a charm though.
