In the WinRAR settings, there's probably a way to set WinRAR to be the default archiver, for ALL archive types.
You can also do that in Windows settings, but that's not as easy.

You can use Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose defaults by file type and change for .zip file type. The default is Windows Explorer.

fu-get-a-bout it. It's a hardcoded function of Windows explorer..You do not have to use it. If you install your own app to handle it, as was suggested change your file types to open with whatever default app you like.
Settings>default apps>choose defaults by file type
