Window becomes huge when edge snapping on one monitor

Windows 11
I recently switched from Windows 10 to 11 and have one issue. I have three monitors in a PLP configuration. The two sides are 1440X2560 in portrait and the center is 5440X1440. On WIn10, I used Display Fusion, but Windows 11 seems to have better native features for multi-monitors, so I am trying to use it.

What I am trying to solve is this. When I drag a window to the outside edge of my right monitor, instead of giving me snapping options (like the monitor on the left), it essentially magnifies the window by about a factor of about 3X. It's almost like the system is set to trigger the magnifier whenever a window is moved to the far right but it's not trying to magnify the whole screen, just the window and Magnifier seems like it's turned off under Ease of Use. If I move the window to the top, I get the expected window sizing/snapping options. It is also letting me drag the window well past the edge of the screen, so I can drop it off the edge and then I have to use keystrokes to find and restore it.

Has anyone ever encountered anything like this? If so, how to fix it?

Images are included below if it helps. Thanks, in advance.

I do not use multiple monitors myself so here's you a sensible AI answer.

Both co-pilot and chatgpt have similar suggestions.
It could be related to display scaling settings or a snapping behavior in Windows. You might want to check:
  1. Display Scaling and/or resolution mismatch– Right-click your desktop, select Display settings, and check if one monitor has a different scaling percentage or resolution.. If they do, try setting them to the same value.
  2. Window Behavior – Some applications remember window sizes based on the monitor. Try manually resizing it before snapping.
  3. Multiple Display Settings – Under Display settings, see if the "Extend" mode is properly configured. Sometimes adjusting resolution or refresh rate between monitors can cause odd window behavior.

Thanks for responding, but unfortunately, none of the AI responses help in this case. Display scaling is correct, as you can see in the pictures. Resizing the window before trying to snap doesn't make any difference either, and if "extend" wasn't enabled correctly, I would not be able to drag the windows easily between monitors.

I've used multiple monitors for more than 10 years, so getting the scaling right something I'm pretty familiar with. When I purchase new monitors (especially when using a combination of portrait and landscape), I'm careful to confirm the different screens are compatible so that you can do something like opening a spreadsheet across three screens, have it aligned correctly, and sized exactly the same across all screens.

I will post this on an MS Tech forum as well. I was just hoping that someone someone might have encountered this before and had a fix.

I ended up just giving up and using Displayfusion on W11. Problem goes away.

The other issue I had with multi-windows under W11 is that I could not find a way to accurately snap adjacent windows, which is really important if you use apps across windows. I thought W11 had pixel-accurate snap options, but apparently not (at least I couldn't find any way).
