One of my ears is worse than the other, so having to redo the balance in system sounds every time I start up my computer or accidentally set it to 0 is, very annoying. This has been an issue for many years, and I finally got sick of it.
This happens across multiple headphones.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the sound drivers but that did not fix the issue.
It could be that I have to (or try) repairing the windows download but I'm unsure of how to do that.
Unless this is how it's supposed to work? But from a previous forum post (tho for windows 10) it seems it's not supposed to be this way, and seems odd anyhow.
