Win11 Version 22H2 has not been an issue on my 3 computers, 2 Pro and 1 Home. They are at Build 22621.674 [KB5018427].

Is there some problem you are seeing on 22H2? As for overwriting the new with the old it is quite possible a reinstall will be necessary. But you might want to use MCT/Media Creation Tool to see what is available.

Many times problems with a specific program can be attributed to the program itself and whether the programmers have kept up with changes in the Operating System. May need to check the games site and their user forum, if they have one, to see if there's patches for the program or if others are having the same issues

Don't see listed which Build you have installed but maybe just uninstalling that will help. Or if you don't have Build 22621.674 it may be offered and help.

WinKey + R, type winver and press Enter.

Depends upon where you got the software for the reinstall, may not be the very latest.

Windows 11 automatically download again installed. So is any way to go back to 21H2?

A few things.

1) If you let Windows update run by itself, it will eventually put you on 22H2. After installing 21H2, be sure to go to Windows Update, and you should see a prompt to install 22H2 - cancel it. You may have to do this repeatedly - I still run 21H2 in a VM, and every time I run it and open WIndows Update, it's waiting there for me to say yes to install it.

2) Or, you could check out a couple of fixes for 22H2 specific to gaming.

a) nVidia had issues with GeForce Experience, as noted here: Why gamers should avoid the Windows 11 2022 update | Digital Trends - the most current nVidia driver 522.25 does include GeForce Experience 3.26.0.131 as noted in the Release Notes at https://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/522.25/522.25-win11-win10-release-notes.pdf so if you're on current, good.

b) More recently, though, Microsoft themselves released (last week no less) the following page to help gamers fix some issues with gaming. Options to Optimize Gaming Performance in Windows 11
As part of continued testing and feedback from users, Microsoft has seen that in some scenarios and some configurations of gaming devices there may be a performance impact with Memory Integrity and VMP on.
Windows provides choice and control for users to configure their PCs to meet their specific needs, including the ability to turn Windows features like Memory Integrity and VMP on and off. Gamers who want to prioritize performance have the option to turn off these features while gaming and turn them back on when finished playing. However, if turned off, the device may be vulnerable to threats.
If you follow those instructions, do note that you're potentially making your computer more vulnerable, and the recommendation is to turn these off when gaming and then turn them back on after you're done.

Windows 11 automatically download again installed. So is any way to go back to 21H2?
You cannot downgrade from a higher build to a lower one (22H2/22621 to 21H2/22000) and keep all your installed apps. It has to be a clen install.

So if currently i am on 22H2 ( clean install ) its impossible to install 21H2?

The Media Creation Tool, Update Assistant, or downloading the ISO from Microsoft will only get you 22H2.

If you really need an ISO for 21H2 then you will have to use UUPDump to get one.

This link will let you build an ISO for the 22000 (21H2) Retail build 22000.613

Ah ok thx so stay with 22H2? its propably game issue not 22H2?
In that case stay with 22H2. I'm not a gamer, but it sounds more likely that your issue is with the particular game rather than 22H2. I have upgraded all my W11 machines to 22H2 and have had no issues with it.

I have had similar problem. To install 21H2 again, download the ISO file for Windows 11 21H2 last release version (I think it is Build 22000.1219) from Microsoft or from the UUP Dump's Website, mount it in the Windows Explorer and start "setup.exe". It overwrites 22H2 without any question. Then you should disable the automatic Updates in "Settings" (pause some weeks) and by Services.msc ( "Windows Update", Starttype: Disabled). The Updates to 21H2 that you want must you download later from the Windows Update Catalog.

Yes, but you will have to reinstall Windows. Do a clean install of 21H2 and then before updating, set the target version for upgrades to 21H2 and you should get updates for 21H2 but not upgrades to 22H2:

You cannot go back. You can only overwrite with a previous version. No matter if it is Home or Pro. Get a ISO with 21H2 Pro. Install it (Open in the Windows Explorer, then "Mount", Setup). Restart. All your installed apps will be deleted. You find a ISO file in the website from Microsoft (Windows 11 Update, for x64), but if you have a ARM64 computer you must download the ISO from UUP Dump's website (type "UUP Dump" on Google, then search with the number "1912", I think). There is a "Pro" option. After the installation, you must stop (pause) the automatic updates on Windows 11, otherwise it will update to 22H2.
