After my issue the other day about losing 10-bit video support in the Nvidia driver (I never figured out why), I took the nuclear option and clean installed Windows 11 22621. I was thinking of doing it anyway but this problem swayed me.
So far all seems ok, the 10-bit HDR works again and now of course I have the Smart App Control security feature (currently in Evaluation mode).
The problem I had when I tried a few weeks ago didn't occur again (Forza Horizon 5 didn't load after re-installing).
Sometimes the nuclear option is the best! Literally 15 minutes to install Windows, hours to re-install and reconfigure apps, and even more hours downloading the games again - why can't we get .exe installers when we buy games?!
