Solved Windows 11 crashes on upgrade from windows 10


Download to a new desktop folder:

After WDV has completed 24 - 48 hours without BSOD:


1) Turn off WDV


2) Detach all nonessential hardware (non-windows drives, flash drives, port replicators, joy stick, extra monitors, etc.)


3) Place the computer into clean boot:



4) Disconnect Ethernet and Wifi


5) Perform an upgrade while in clean boot using the desktop iso


6) Perform updates only after a successful upgrade:
